This top features distinct Maltese lace, handmade on the island itself by local women. Each piece takes countless hours of work. Because of this, it is a dwindling art. By supporting these artisans, I hope we can create a resurgence of demand for these handmade masterpeices.
The 8 pointed cross design is a symbol of Malta, going back to the 1600.
The rest of this top is made from cotton / linen fabric and lace straps.
